Calling local artists - is this your moment?
Dream of performing on the Good Times Live stage - opening for a major headline artist and getting paid for it? This is your moment.
We’re inviting local solo artists to share their best work for a chance to join the Good Times Live 2026 lineup. After reviewing all submissions, we’ll select a group of finalists to perform in front of our industry judging panel. From there, judges will choose who will share the stage with iconic acts like Madness, Jessie J, The Human League, and Emeli Sandé.
New for 2026: a wild-card public vote! Artists who don’t make it through the main final can rally their community to vote for them - giving one extra performer the chance to join the Good Times Live lineup this May.
Key Dates:
Applications close: Friday, 30th Jan 2026
Finalists announced: Friday, 16th Feb 2026
Talent Show Grand Final: Sunday, 29th March 2026

Applicants must live within 20 miles of our venue (BS37 6GA). Please include your address so we can ensure we’re supporting genuine local talent.

- Applicants must live within 20 miles of our venue (BS37 6GA). All finalists will be asked to verify their location with ID.
- You must be over 18 to enter.
- Judges' decisions are final.
- The public vote winner will be decided solely by the number of votes each artist receives.
- You must be available to perform during the period of Wednesday 20th - Monday 25th May 2026. The Good Times team will choose which night you will perform on.
- As a winner, you will receive entry for the night you perform on. If you want to attend any other nights of Good Times Live you will need to purchase a ticket.
